My name is Nick Stanton and I am Director of Kerensa Consulting Ltd.

Based in St Ives, Cornwall, Kerensa Consulting has been in the website business since 1994. That's before most people even realised there was an Internet. Our first major website was for the National Childbirth Trust and was one of the most comprehensive online resources for its time in the UK.

Some of our more prominent clients have included Diners Club, WH Smith, Thorne Controls and Cisco (UK), AXS Telecom and many others.

Since then we have built and worked on literally hundreds of websites from large Blue Chip corporations to small Bed and Breakfast establishments and pretty much everything in between.

But for each site we use the same set of Golden Rules :-
  1. Listen to the customer - it's their business and they know it far better than we ever could
  2. Agree a price, a specification and a timescale - and deliver to it. That way there's no surprises and no bad feeling
  3. Support the client after delivery - all sites need modifying and tinkering with once they've gone live. We realise this and build the cost of these alterations in the price.
  4. Explain why we've chosen the technology options we have.

No matter how large or small, the prime purpose of any web site is to increase awareness of the organisation and to create new business. As such we offer supplementary online and offline services to promote the web sites and to maintain their effectiveness by using intelligent auto responders, mailing lists and other promotional tools.

We can build a small web site in a matter of a few days. We develop and build many larger web sites in collaboration with local designers in a few weeks.
